After many years of unprecedented growth external factors on the world scene have burst the property bubble.  It was the case that merely owning property was a way of making money; no particular skill was required.  Underlying growth in market values was sufficient.  Not only has the market come to a shuddering halt but this situation has now gone into reverse.  Making money out of property in this market requires great care and skill, if not a slice of good fortune.

One of the advantages of age is experience and memory.  Sadly we’re old enough to have worked in a number of recessions and to have experienced some of these conditions before.  We came through then and by the skills acquired, we have what it takes to do so again. 

One of the positive aspects of a recessionary market is that it does throw up opportunities.  It is important to be a position to exploit these and also to be adequately resourced to pick up the reins when the market begins to improve.  That’s where we are now and increasing the volumes of business we are undertaking.  We hope we’ll be able to help you and share some of the knowledge we acquired in those earlier recessions
