Consulting on developments is an important part of our business, and an area we thoroughly enjoy, as it enables us to delve into our knowledge and experience of the local area when assisting our clients with their projects. We are often involved at various stages throughout the development process, and in a number of different ways too. Although, the most obvious is that we sell or acquire land that has development potential on behalf of a client. As simple as it sounds, this can be quite a complex process as it could involve a number of parties, including the Local Planning Authority, the Highway Authority and other agencies.
As development sites are often made up of more than one parcel of land, site assembly is well-known for being an extremely delicate business that requires skilful negotiations and, having the ability to form relationships with the parties involved can be considerably advantageous.
