We offer a residential lease extension provision as part of our property valuation service.

In the last 12 months we have seen an increasing number of people seeking to extend the leases on their homes.

Not only does a longer lease often equate to an increase in the value of your home, but lenders are typically reluctant to offer mortgages on leasehold interests with less than 80 years remaining.

As the term diminishes, the cost of extending a lease can increase significantly. We encourage leaseholders to exercise their right to extend as soon as is feasible so that they are in the strongest possible negotiating position
