Business Rate Relief for non-domestic properties changes on 1st April 2008. Office and retail premises will receive 100% relief for 3 months and industrial and warehouse premises for 6 months after they become vacant. After these periods 100% rates will be payable. CBC say the relief for Listed properties will also end. Charities will continue to be exempt. Where properties have an RV less than £15000 pa there is a one year holiday form liability for empty rates commencing April 2009
